Earlier this week, the staff of Academy Bus and a film crew braved the blistering heat to shoot our new commercial, which we will debut on our social media outlets (and here on our blog) in a few weeks and air on television this fall.

You might remember our old commercial.  Our new piece tells the story of our commuter service in a much more fun (and punchy) way, following the tone set by the revamp and updated functionality of our website this spring.

Shots included our commuter bus interiors, and touched on some of our top features.  These range from free Wi-Fi and individual seats to our safe, courteous drivers.   All of these features are things we have added to make your commute productive and easy.

In developing this commercial, we’ve found an innovate way to express this “Academy lifestyle.”  We hope you relate and are inspired to hop on board (if you haven’t already).

Our routes span Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties, providing commuters with direct access to New York City (Port Authority Bus Terminal and Wall Street), as well as Jersey City.

Numerous and carefully planned stops in New Jersey bring your commute to your front door, virtually allowing a one-seat commute.

We work to provide all of this in the most efficient way possible – passing along our savings to you.  One particularly meaningful feature that we have established is our savings calculator, which can specifically analyze your commute, and compare the savings you’ll find by riding with us over driving.

We tend to forget, sometimes, that the real value of commuting with us lies in the quality and quantity of the time that you’ll have to spend on the road.   That’s why we’ve invested in the technology, relationships, and people that move our fleet as quickly as possible.

The overall effect for you?  More time, less stress and increased savings.

This is our mission and why we’re so excited that we have a new way to tell it to you!  Stay tuned.
